MUM'S FISH & CHIPS
COVID RESPONSE

The pandemic has been hard on everyone, including our Acton community. We wanted to provide some happiness to help you get through these times, and that’s what led to the creation of Mum’s Fish & Chips.

We want to serve you delicious and carefully prepared comfort food—keeping you safe at the same time.

As such, Mum’s is following all COVID-19 health and safety regulations and guidelines as issued by the Government of Ontario and other health and safety institutions. To Mum’s, your health and wellbeing matters the most.

Here are the steps we’re taking against the transmission of the virus.

Wearing masks in compulsory at Mum’s.

That includes our founder, Rose Gordon, our team, a.k.a family, and our customers. We request you to wear your masks if you want to enter Mum’s chippy.

We request you to maintain physical distancing in the store.

To promote that, we only allow 2 customers to enter our chippy at a time. We also have markings on the floor to guide your path.

We request you to use contactless payment methods when possible.

However, we do accept cash, should you choose to pay with that.

We have hand sanitizers in easily accessible positions throughout the chippy

They are available for our family and for you. Use them anytime!

We frequently clean commonly touched surfaces

We use a disinfectant that’s approved by Government of Ontario.

We’ve installed plexiglass barrier between our team and customer

This is to allow for physical distancing and separation.

We promote the best practices for health hygiene and safety precautions

This includes wearing of gloves, amongst our team. So, when we say we care, it’s not poppycock.
